Guided by Voices - Little Jimmy the Giant

Cool. Looks like the b-side on the Xeno Pariah single released today is a full band version of one of the oldest GBV songs. The original acoustic solo version was recorded in 1984 and appeared on the first Suitcase compilation.

This single is off of English Little League, which will be the fourth (!) record in 15 months by the reunited GBV when it drops on April 30. Crazy fucks.

playmixt: July 2012 is Guided by Voices Month in their hometown of Dayton, Ohio. This is awesome, even if Robert Pollard is pretty much farting out records at this point. I mean, this is a pleasant enough two minutes and fifteen seconds, but it’s so paper-thin it hardly qualifies as a song.
